Audit Prep was founded in 2008 by Michael Psomas, a highly-experienced Certified Public Accountant and former Chief Financial Officer who envisioned a specialized approach to optimizing audit projects. Michael assembled a respected team of audit experts with the mission of refining an integrated preparation system that simplifies the audit process.

Audit Prep’s project leaders are CPA’s with decades of audit experience as CFOs, controllers, and directors of internal control for mid-sized companies. The team’s unique balance of public and private experience, along with their deep technical accounting knowledge, ensures that every job is prepared and managed with the utmost efficiency and integrity.

Because we’re not an employment agency, we don’t get the job and then try to find someone to do it. Only our specially-trained staff manages your audit, giving our clients the peace of mind they deserve.

Our team of seasoned professionals understands the complexities of audit planning and has helped hundreds of public and private companies, as well as auditing firms, achieve success.

Our project leaders are CPAs who were audit managers or senior managers at Big 4 accounting firms. In addition, they usually have controller experience, so they understand the company’s perspective. Assisting them are former audit senior associates that specialize in account reconciliation and analysis.
